Paparoa Street School
This policy outlines how Paparoa Street School meets the requirements of the Education and Training Act 2020, Subpart 6, s 521–523, and Outcomes 15 and 20 of the Code of Practice.
Paparoa Street School ensures that no international learner (unless exempted by the Minister) receives tuition at our school unless they have paid the school a sum that covers our best estimate of the cost involved in providing tuition, an amount that is an appropriate reflection of the use of school capital facilities, the amount prescribed by the Minister for the school to reimburse the Crown, and any other fees prescribed by the board (Education and Training Act, s 521-523).
Paparoa Street School provides international learners and their families with information about the costs involved with study (e.g. fees, incidental costs, additional fees for optional activities) before enrolment to ensure that full costs are disclosed. See International Offers and International Enrolment.
We ensure that the fees paid by international learners for educational instruction are secure and protected in the event of learner withdrawal, the ending of educational instruction, or school closure. See International Learner Fee Protection and Refunds.
